Connection Components

Transport fluids between fixtures and vessels throughout an instrument with ultimate precision.

Secure, Precise Connection Components

Our fittings, ferrules, and adapters and connectors are uniquely designed to safely and precisely transport fluids without guesswork.

Our fittings are configured with various thread types, chemical compatibilities, tubing sizes and materials, space constraints, and torque limitations.

Click-N-Seal Fittings

Click-N-Seal offers a patented system for hand-tight fittings, in which the resistance of the cap increases until the correct torque is reached, at which point the cap clicks. The user is able to hand tighten the fittings without tools or guesswork and be confident that the fitting is properly tightened to create a secure seal.

  • Creates a secure seal without damaging the port of constricting tubing through overtightening
  • Eliminates tools and guesswork even for low-pressure connections
  • Can be unscrewed and reused dozens of times
  • Retains 1/16”, 1/8”, or 3/16” OD semirigid tubing
  • A variety of pressure ratings from 50 pounds per square inch (micro) to 1,000 psi (standard/plus) and all the way up to 7,000 psi (ultra)
  • For 1/4”-28 UNF, 6-40, and 10-32 flat-bottom or conical threaded ports
  • Available in polycarbonate, acetal, polyoxymethylene (POM), and PEEK

  • Create a connection with minimized dead volume and flow disturbance
  • Enjoy a user-friendly no-slip design to simplify field servicing or repeated assembly and disassembly
  • Rated up to 2,500 psi
  • Retains 1/16”, 1/8”, or 3/16” OD tubing
  • Compatible with our connection systems including Type P, Type S, Gripper, and Inverted Cones
  • Connections to 1/4”-28 UNF, 5/16”-24, or M6 threaded ports
  • Choose from a variety of innovative design styles:
    • Headless: Slim profile and easy-grip design with pressure compatibility up to 2,500 psi for HPLC applications
    • Wide Head: Flangeless design with permanently attached ferrule
    • Long Head: Extended design for easier installation

Ferrules provide additional strength and avoid tubing wear to improve the longevity and reliability of fluid handling systems. Our easy-to-assemble, flat-bottom ferrule designs are configured with a variety of thread, chemical compatibility, tubing size, and pressure options.

Type P

Type P ferrules are a flangeless tube connection system that incorporates a PTFE seal housed in a 316 stainless steel or PEEK casing. The Type P fitting system uses a one-piece ferrule, which fits permanently to the outside of the semirigid tubing for applications that require high purity and chemical resistance.

  • Compatible with 1/16” or 1/8” OD tubing
  • Rated up to 1,000 psi

Type S

The Type S fitting system uses a two-piece ferrule that fits permanently to the outside of the tubing. Two-part ferrules consist of an inner PEEK or ETFE sealing surface and a stainless steel lock ring, with only the inner portion in the fluid path, for applications that require high pressure and low dead volume.

  • Compatible with 1/16”,  1/8”, or 3/16” OD tubing
  • Pressure rated up to 2,500 psi

Gripper fitting systems use a one-piece ferrule that fits permanently onto the outside of semirigid tubing. Ferrules have an outer stainless steel or PEEK casing and an inner PTFE sealing face, ensuring that only PTFE is in the fluid path for high chemical resistance and repeated connections.

  • Compatible with 1/16” or 1/8” OD tubing
  • Pressure rated up to 1,000 psi

Inverted Cone

Inverted cones provide a reusable, nonpermanent, low-pressure connection with only the ETFE cone in the fluid path. A recess in the fitting houses the inverted cone, allowing maximum thread engagement with the port ensuring the system stays sealed even in shallow PTFE ports.

  • Compatible with 1/16”,  1/8”, or 3/16” OD tubing
  • Pressure rated up to 250 psi

Adapters and Connectors

Click-N-Seal Barbed Adapters

Click-N-Seal barbed adapters are self-torquing for reliable thread-to-barb connections that can’t be overtightened. These adapters are constructed using standard polycarbonate and a PEEK material for improved temperature performance, and they’re ideal for connecting peristaltic pumps to rigid tubing.

  • Polycarbonate or PEEK construction
  • Retains 1/16”, 1/8”, or 5/32” ID softwall tubing
  • Connections to 1/4”-28 UNF or M6 threaded ports

Microbarb Adapters

Microbarb adapters provide a chemically inert, low-carryover connection between flexible, soft-wall tubing and semirigid tubing with a miniature dual component design to ensure both the inside and outside of the soft tubing are firmly gripped. These reusable adapters are ideal for connections to peristaltic pump and pinch valve tubing assemblies.

  • PEEK construction for chemically inert connections
  • Tubing with an ID between 0.01 - 0.03" (0.62") and an OD between 0.082 - 0.104"
  • Connections to 1/4"-28 UNF or M6 flat-bottom threaded ports

Barbed Adapters

Barbed adapters feature a superior barb with a crisp edge that retains soft wall tubing more securely than molded adapters. A tight, leak-free connection can be ensured by matching the inner diameter of your tubing to the barb size of the adapter.

  • Machined production using chemically resistant PEEK or acetal
  • Adapting 1.0-6.0 millimeter (mm) softwall tubing such as silicone, PVC, or tygon
  • Connections to 1/4"-28 UNF threaded ports
